AbstractThe course of history of medicine of the Russian University of people's friendship, established in April 1974 is a good example of the educational methodological center of teaching of history of medicine. At the center the model programs, textbooks, tutorials, study guides to teach the history of medicine in the medical universities of the Russian Federation are developed The value-added education of professors and lecturers of history of medicine is organized.
