AbstractMyiasis is the infestation of human or animal tissues by fly larvae. The disease is widespread especially in tropical countries. Here we report a case of myiasis due to Cordylobia anthropophaga that occurred in a traveller returning from Senegal. This case has some peculiar characteristics, regarding the site of the lesion and the clinical presentation.
