AbstractA case of heterotopic pregnancy, an unusual condition in itself, complicated by pulmonary embolus is presented. The patient underwent an elective termination of an intrauterine pregnancy and subsequently was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolus, which delayed the diagnosis of her ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
