AbstractTechnology, change, efficiency, and caring are not necessarily concepts that are used in the same sentence when describing motivational and professional practice settings. Caring within health care organizations can take many forms. One of the most significant and meaningful forms is through building networks for shared decision making and shared accountability. While caring can save the life of a patient and convey trust and commitment to patients, families, and staff, it can also save the life of your organization.
