AbstractPulmonary hypertension is often and serious illness which develops in course of interstitial lung diseases. In this paper clinical classification, the basic statistical data concerning developing of pulmonary hypertension as well as contemporary opinion referred to pathogenesis of this disorder were shortly presented. Impact of pulmonary hypertension on prognosis in people with interstitial lung diseases, significance of particular markers and spirometric parameters and methods of measurement of blood pressure in pulmonary artery were also include in this article.
