AbstractA patient is presented who was treated with neoadjuvant oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy followed by hepatic resection complicated by fatal liver failure. Histopathological examination revealed hepatic veno-occlusive disease, which is an infrequent reported side effect of oxaliplatin.
