    AbstractThis article describes the author's experience in living the care and healing in the family member's perspective in a Private Hospital's Emergency unit. The objective of this article is to reflect about the process of communication and its relevance for the nurse's team, the patient and his family in this unit. Some authors that support the idea that communication is the pathway that express the nursing care were used. We pointed some critical points, suggestions for a possible solution and the importance of nursing in this context.
