AbstractChildren receiving palliative care have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, which include symptoms ranging from unpleasant to intolerable suffering. We describe three diverse cases of medical marijuana within ambulatory pediatric palliative care, highlighting use for spasticity, refractory seizures, and cancer-related symptoms. Included are caregiver perspectives of their child's experience with medical marijuana. This population has high potential for positive effects from medical marijuana therapy, particularly for maximizing quality of life.Copyright © 2024 American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
