AbstractEpidural abscesses are rare intracranial infections. They can occur from neurosurgical procedures, or head and neck infections. Successful treatment usually requires a combination of drainage procedure and antibiotic therapy. We present the case of a young patient with an intracranial epidural abscess and meningitis secondary to sinusitis who received only corticosteroids and antibiotic therapy, with good evolution.
