AbstractThe 6Cs were developed in 2012 against a backdrop of concerns about standards of nursing care in England. Over the last two years they have also been adopted by professionals and organisations outside of nursing. This article describes, and provides examples of, how the values of the 6Cs are becoming embedded across health and social care.
