AbstractThe paper analyzes the problem of a patient's safety during neurosurgical interventions. The considered complications occurring in the perioperative period are divided into specific and nonspecific to neurosurgery. General and partial complications are identified among the specific ones. These and those complications, their diagnosis, therapy, and prevention are considered briefly.
