AbstractTopiramate has already been suggested for treatment of olfactory hallucination. This is a report of a three and a half-year-old boy with idiopathic generalized tonic colonic epilepsy. He had lost his ability to detect and recognize taste and odor during treatment with topiramate. Those abilities improved after discontinuation of topiramate.
