AbstractBased on an analysis of 284 observations amounting to 1.8% of the total number of operations on organs of the abdominal cavity the authors give more exact indications to early relaparotomy and to more optimal methods to eliminate complications appearing after primary operations. They recommend wider use of additional methods of diagnosis of postoperative complications which will result in less lethality after relaparotomies.
