AbstractClinical presentation of carotid artery dissection (CAD) is variable, including acute or subacute headache, cervical pain, or focal neurologic deficit that occurs spontaneously, after a high-speed neck manipulation, or trauma. Isolated lower cranial nerve palsy in carotid dissection is uncommon.
