    AbstractNasopharyngeal carcinoma is generally diagnosed prior to ophthalmic complaints. The authors present a case of a 57-year-old healthy man with sudden-onset unilateral ptosis. MRI showed an ulcerating soft-tissue mass in the nasopharynx with skull base invasion. Biopsy confirmed nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
