AbstractThe potential dangers of electricity and its use in the clinical setting are obvious. When clinical equipment is taken out of the clinical setting, machine malfunction or unexpected function in the hands of untrained and unskilled individuals can yield disasterous results. The benefits of community education must be weighed carefully in light of the potential danger.
