    AbstractThis study evaluated the potential efficacy of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation in reducing narcotic requirements following cesarean section. The total required dose of postoperative analgesic (meperidine) was found to be 511 mg in the experimental group and 456 mg in the control group. There was no significant difference in narcotic use or hospital stay between the experimental and control groups.
