    AbstractImprovements in diagnosis and treatment have increased survival for many children with malignant bone tumors. New molecular genetic discoveries are providing insights into the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and may provide novel therapeutic modalities based on interfering with aberrant transcriptional activation by hybrid transcripts.
