AbstractTherapeutic management of 42 parturients with the syndrome of obstetric coagulopathy who had suffered hemorrhagic shock in labor or early postpartum period was analysed. The signs of consumption coagulopathy were revealed in all the examinees. A decrease in the blood fibrinolytic activity observed in the presence of hypocirculation led to a microcirculatory crisis and the development of polyorganic failure. Agents of fibrinolytic activation and disaggregation from the nicotinic acid group or its derivatives, which were given in the postresuscitation period potentiated the therapeutic efficacy and therefore decreased lethality rates.
