AbstractIn 1909 the neurologist Dr. Hans Steinert was the first to describe the most common of all neural-muscular diseases: Mytotonic Dystrophy Curschmann Steinert. Up to today this disease is seldom published particularly in obstetrics. This is a case report of a 23-year-old patient. Following extensive interdisciplinary diagnostic a successful caesarian delivery of a healthy boy was performed in the 39(th) week of pregnancy without any complications.© Georg Thieme Verlag KG Stuttgart · New York.
