AbstractSpecial features of the transfusion tactics in the treatment of 25 burned patients with diabetes mellitus were revealed. The transfusion therapy reduced the mutual aggravation of pathogenesis of the burn disease and diabetes mellitus. Against the background of the compensated course of metabolic processes in the organism obtained by transfusion methods and media, the successful surgical treatment of burned patients with diabetes mellitus is possible.
