Case Reports[Recurrent Clostridium difficile infection treated with faecal microbiota transplantation].
Treatment of severe Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) poses a clinical challenge. Emerging evidence supports the use of faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT). ⋯ The patient recovered completely without further relapse during follow-up. FMT was shown to be an efficient adjuvant treatment of complicated CDI.

During the latest decades the incidence of birth traumas has decreased significantly. Even so the traumas still contribute to an increased mortality and morbidity. ⋯ The fractures healed without neurosurgical intervention. Case reports show that even in uncomplicated vaginal deliveries skull fractures can be seen and should be suspected in children with facial abnormalities.

Review[Bladder pain and urinary tract symptoms as a consequence of ketamine abuse].
A recent study has shown that ketamine has become popular among Danish clubgoers. The drug can induce psychedelic effects but it also has serious urological side effects, such as frequency and urgency in relation to voiding as well as pain from the bladder and haematuria. ⋯ Mild changes are reversible on cessation of ketamine abuse but long-term abuse can cause fibrosis of the bladder and may necessitate cystectomy. Therefore, physicians should ask young patients with bladder symptoms of unknown pathology about ketamine abuse.

Ketamine is gaining popularity among Danish drug users. We present the first three reports of ketamine-induced urinary symptoms in Denmark. ⋯ No specific pathology was found and all patients admitted to ketamine abuse. The cases illustrate that Danish physicians must be aware of potential side effects to ketamine abuse.

Review[Lung ultrasound for the diagnosis and follow-up of pneumonia].
Fast and accurate diagnostic of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) is of vital importance. Chest X-ray is currently the most used image modality for the diagnosis of CAP. ⋯ LUS is better at detecting and diagnosing complications to CAP. This narrative review gives an update on the literature and describes a practical approach to the use of LUS for the diagnosis and follow-up of CAP.
