Effect of mode of delivery on postpartum health-related quality of life.
The aim of the study was to explore the impact of mode of delivery on health-related quality of life in mothers. ⋯ This study showed that health-related quality of life was higher after vaginal delivery than after cesarean section. In addition, spousal support, regular sleep pattern, and PA during pregnancy play an important role in maternal health-related quality of life.

A practical predictive model to predict 30-day mortality in neonatal sepsis.
Neonatal sepsis is a serious disease that needs timely and immediate medical attention. So far, there is no specific prognostic biomarkers or model for dependable predict outcomes in neonatal sepsis. The aim of this study was to establish a predictive model based on readily available laboratory data to assess 30-day mortality in neonatal sepsis. ⋯ We established a predictive model that can objectively and accurately predict individualized risk of 30-day mortality. The predictive model should help clinicians to improve individual treatment, make clinical decisions, and guide follow-up management strategies.

Prevalence and associated factors of mother-reported jaundice in newborns.
Newborns' jaundice is the result of bilirubin accumulation as fetal hemoglobin is metabolized by the immature liver. This study aimed to estimate the prevalence of mother-reported newborn jaundice and associated factors. ⋯ We can conclude that mother-reported newborn jaundice was 17.9% associated with maternal and birth aspects.

Identification of sexual myths of university students in health-related departments and affecting factors.
The research aimed to determine the attitudes of students studying in health-related departments toward sexual myths and the factors affecting them. ⋯ Despite students studying in health-related departments and receiving relevant courses, their level of sexual myths remains at a moderate level, indicating the presence of knowledge gaps and misconceptions in the subject matter. Therefore, it is crucial to implement comprehensive education and counseling services on reproductive and sexual health for all university students.

Fear, anxiety, and knowledge levels of women who underwent gynecologic surgery during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the fear, anxiety, and knowledge level in women who underwent gynecological surgical procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ This study demonstrated that women were afraid of COVID-19 infection during gynecological operation and due to hospitalization, sociodemographic characteristics affected the knowledge levels about COVID-19 infection, and the anxiety levels of the women. Planning appropriate interventions to decrease the fear and anxiety of women who undergo gynecological surgery during the pandemic is important to ensure that women adhere to their treatment and follow-up in the postoperative period.
