Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyPredictors of functional outcome in patients with chronic low back pain undergoing back school, individual physiotherapy or spinal manipulation.
Recent studies on chronic low back pain (cLBP) rehabilitation suggest that predictors of treatment outcome may be differ according to the considered conservative treatment. ⋯ Our results suggest that, independent form other characteristics, patients with cLBP and low pain-related disability should first consider spinal manipulation as a conservative treatment.

ReviewCourse of back complaints in older adults: a systematic literature review.
Back pain is a common musculoskeletal complaint seen in older people. It is important to get an insight in the course of back complaints and to identify factors associated with a chronic course. ⋯ More than one-third of the older patients with back pain still experience complaints after 3 and 12 months.

Comparative StudyExploring variables associated with rehabilitation length of stay in brain injuries patients.
The impact of outcome measure as early variables on rehabilitation length of stay (LOS) in traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients remains poorly investigated. ⋯ This result may help to optimize inpatient service utilization, especially in term of LOS.

Although childbirth is a well-known cause of coccydynia, this condition has not been studied previously. ⋯ Our results bring a better knowledge and should allow a better management of this specific etiology of coccydynia.

Virtual reality and interactive video gaming are innovative therapy approaches in the field of stroke rehabilitation. The primary objective of this review was to determine the effectiveness of virtual reality on motor function after stroke. The impact on secondary outcomes including activities of daily living was also assessed. ⋯ Virtual reality appears to be a promising approach however, further studies are required to confirm these findings.
