Successful Repeat Sacroplasty in a Patient With a Recurrent Sacral Insufficiency Fracture: A Case Presentation.
The standard of care for treatment of sacral insufficiency fracture (SIF) remains conservative management with limited weight-bearing and analgesics, as most fractures heal within 12 weeks. For those who fail to respond to conservative therapy, are immobile, or cannot tolerate the pain despite analgesic therapy, as well as those who do not improve with time, rest, or activity modification, minimally invasive surgery with percutaneous transverse screw fixation across the fracture is effective. ⋯ This is a novel report of repeat sacroplasty in a patient with a recurrent SIF to the same anatomical area as a previously treated SIF. To our knowledge, this is the first report of such an occurrence.

Acute Radial Neuropathy at the Spiral Groove Following Massage: A Case Presentation.
Massage-related nerve injury is an uncommon, rarely reported complication. We report an unusual case of radial nerve neuropathy at the spiral groove in a 58-year-old woman that resulted from a single episode of deep tissue massage. Although the spiral groove is known as the most common site implicated in radial nerve neuropathy, to our knowledge, there have not previously been any reports of massage-related spiral groove radial nerve neuropathy. ⋯ Serial follow-ups demonstrated concomitant improvement in clinical symptoms and electrodiagnostic parameters. A near-total recovery was achieved after 6 months. This case presentation aims to increase awareness and early recognition of massage-related nerve injuries.

Does Trainee Involvement in Fluoroscopic Injections Affect Fluoroscopic Time, Immediate Pain Reduction, and Complication Rate?
Patients have expressed concern about undergoing procedures involving trainees, even with direct attending physician supervision. Little literature has examined the effect of trainee involvement on patient outcomes. ⋯ II.

Female Physicians Are Underrepresented in Recognition Awards from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Medical specialty societies are important resources for physicians in advancing their careers. There is a gap in the literature regarding gender disparities within these societies. This study assesses one area where disparities may exist: recognition awards. ⋯ Not applicable.

Chronic low back pain (LBP) is a common musculoskeletal impairment in people with lower limb amputation. Given the multifactorial nature of LBP, exploring the factors influencing the presence and intensity of LBP is warranted. ⋯ II.
