Psychometric Evaluation of the Improved Work-Disability Functional Assessment Battery.
To assess psychometric properties of the improved Work Disability Functional Assessment Battery (WD-FAB 2.0). ⋯ The study provides substantial support for the reliability and construct validity of the WD-FAB 2.0 among 3 diverse samples. Although initially developed for use within the Social Security Administration (SSA), these results suggest that the WD-FAB 2.0 could be used for assessment and measurement of work-related physical and mental health function in other contexts as well.

Implementing an Opioid Risk Reduction Program in the Acute Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.
To describe the implementation and evaluation of an interdisciplinary quality improvement (QI) project to increase prescription of take-home naloxone (THN) to reduce risks associated with opioids for patients admitted to an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. ⋯ Implementation of a THN and opioid risk reduction QI project in an inpatient rehabilitation setting led to significantly more eligible patients receiving naloxone and more patients weaned off schedule II opioids.

Association of Patterns of Moderate-to-Vigorous Physical Activity Bouts With Pain, Physical Fatigue, and Disease Severity in Women With Fibromyalgia: the al-Ándalus Project.
To examine the associations of non-bouted moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and patterns of MVPA in bouts ≥10 minutes with pain, physical fatigue, and disease severity in women with fibromyalgia, and test whether these associations are independent of sedentary time (ST) and physical fitness (PF). ⋯ Patterns of MVPA performed in bouts ≥10 minutes were overall consistently and independently associated with core symptoms (pain and fatigue) in fibromyalgia and the overall disease severity, regardless of ST or PF. The results suggest that longer bouts of continuous MVPA are associated with better symptoms profile in this population, which needs to be corroborated in longitudinal research.

Review Meta AnalysisUltrasound Parameters Other Than the Direct Measurement of Ulnar Nerve Size for Diagnosing Cubital Tunnel Syndrome: A Systemic Review and Meta-analysis.
To investigate the diagnostic performance of available ultrasound (US) parameters, other than the direct measurements of ulnar nerve size, that is, cross-sectional area (CSA) and diameter, for diagnosing cubital tunnel syndrome (CuTS). ⋯ Despite the insufficient number of pertinent studies to prove its superiority to other US measurements, the ulnar nerve-swelling ratio can be a complementary tool for diagnosing CuTS. The presence of intraneural vascularity, increased flattening ratio, and enlarged intraneural hypoechoic fraction also seem to be potential US indicators for CuTS diagnosis, which need to be validated with more prospective studies.

Randomized Controlled TrialRobotic-Assisted Shoulder Rehabilitation Therapy Effectively Improved Poststroke Hemiplegic Shoulder Pain: A Randomized Controlled Trial.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the therapeutic effects of a newly developed shoulder robot on poststroke hemiplegic shoulder pain. ⋯ A prototype shoulder rehabilitation robot as an adjuvant therapy improves hemiplegic shoulder pain and self-reported shoulder-related disability.
