Kangai injection, a well-known insect-derived traditional Chinese medicine preparation, has been widely applied as a promising adjunctive drug for hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, its exact clinical efficacy and safety is still not well investigated. In this study, we aimed to summarize the efficacy and safety of Kangai injection for patients with HBV-related HCC through the meta-analysis. ⋯ INPLASY202090014.

Imaging and clinical features of giant multilocular prostatic cystadenoma: A case report.
Giant multilocular prostatic cystadenoma (GMPC) is a rare type of prostatic epithelial neoplasm. Thus, the imaging features of this condition are not well known. We report the imaging and clinical manifestations of a case of GMPC. ⋯ GMPC is a rare prostatic neoplasm with atypical clinical symptoms. MRI provides valuable information about GMPC. In case of a giant multilocular prostatic mass with well-defined boundary and abundant vascularity, benign feature on diffusion-weighted imaging, GMPC should be considered.

There is scarce evidence that the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) could efficiently improve the prediction accuracy of the Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events (GRACE) risk score in cases of ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). A cohort of 1094 STEMI patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention was retrospectively recruited. Patients were categorized based on the ESR values. ⋯ Regarding the mid-term mortality, adding the ESR to the GRACE score not only improved the NRI (0.8433; P < .001), but also increased the integrated discrimination improvement (0.0509; P = .04). The ESR is an independent risk factor of cardiovascular death and MACE in STEMI patients receiving primary percutaneous coronary intervention. The ESR comparatively enhanced the predictive values of the prognostic model, including the GRACE risk score.

Clinical and pathological analysis of 10 cases of salivary gland epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma.
Epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma (EMC) is a rare neoplasm of the salivary glands. The aim of this study is to review and evaluate clinicopathological features and treatment of EMC of salivary gland for better sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis. The clinical and pathological data of the 10 salivary gland EMC cases from 2008 to 2017 were analyzed. ⋯ Complete surgical excision and negative margins are necessary for good prognosis. Imaging techniques should be used to assess the neck dissection and it is unclear whether adjuvant radiotherapy is beneficial. To ensure the sensitivity and specificity of the EMC diagnosis, we should perform both pathological and IHC analysis.

Observational Study
IKZF1 polymorphisms are associated with susceptibility, cytokine levels, and clinical features in systemic lupus erythematosus.
Ikaros family zinc finger 1(IKZF1) encodes a lymphoid-restricted zinc finger transcription factor named Ikaros that regulates lymphocyte differentiation and proliferation as well as self-tolerance. Increasing evidence indicates that IKZF1 could contribute to the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. Recent research has provided evidence that IKZF1 might correlate with Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), but no clear definition has been made yet. ⋯ In addition, significant relationships were observed between rs4917014 and susceptibility, granzyme B level, and hematological disorder in SLE (P = .005, P = .03 and P = .005, respectively). The results further support that IKZF1 may have an important role in the development and pathogenesis of SLE. Allele G of rs4132601 and rs4917014 is related to a decreased risk of SLE occurrence and associated with clinical features in SLE patients, including CD40 ligand level, granzyme B level, malar rash, and hematological disorder, which play important roles in disease progression.
