Patients with angina pectoris (AP) often experience heavy psychological distress, especially anxiety and depression, which results in poorer quality of life, shorter survival time. Acupoint therapies, including massage, acupuncture, acupoints injection, acupressure, and moxibustion, showed clinical and long-lasting benefits for AP, but the efficiency of acupoint therapies was poorly evaluated. The current review is attempted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the different acupoint-based therapies for AP. ⋯ 10.17605/OSF.IO/VNXWE.

As a classic prescription for treating knee osteoarthritis, Du-Huo-Ji-Sheng-decoction has been widely recognized for its clinical efficacy. The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Du-Huo-Ji-Sheng-decoction in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ This study will provide evidence to judge whether DHJSD is an effective intervention for KOA.

Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) is common in clinic at present, which seriously affects the mental health and quality of life of patients. With the development of society, the incidence of TMD is gradually increasing. At present, there are many treatment methods, Tuina as a characteristic traditional Chinese medicine therapy, clinical treatment of TMD has a significant effect. In recent years, there are many clinical studies on Tuina in the treatment of TMD, but the clinical efficacy of Tuina in the treatment of TMD has not been systematically evaluated. In this study, we systematically evaluated the relevant literature of Tuina in the treatment of TMD by using the method of evidence-based medicine, in order to provide reference for clinical research in this direction in the future. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/J75A8.

High myopia is a kind of ametropia with diopter more than -6.00D or axial length ≥26 mm. With the change of the modern environment, the incidence rate is increasing year by year. At present, the pathogenesis of high myopia is not clear. Some current studies indicate that it may be related to the environment and genetics. A Chinese patent medicine named Bu Jing Yi Shi Tablets (BJYST) has many functions including anti-oxidation, expansion of blood vessels, anti-inflammatory, immune regulation, inhibition of retinal photoreceptor cell apoptosis, and promotion of retinal repair. A large number of existing studies have shown that this prescription can relieve the clinical manifestations of high myopia and its complications, but its true efficacy and safety are still unclear. To certify this point, a protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis of BJYST for high myopia will be performed. ⋯ The Open Science Framework (OSF) registration number is osf.io/dpk5b.

Nasopharyngeal papillary adenocarcinoma harboring a fusion of ROS1 with GOPC: A case report.
Nasopharyngeal papillary adenocarcinoma is a region-specific tumor originating from the nasopharyngeal surface epithelium. Owing to its rarity, more attention has been paid to its clinicopathologic features, while little effort has been made to study the gene abnormalities that drive this tumor. We describe the first case of nasopharyngeal papillary adenocarcinoma harboring a fusion of ROS1 with GOPC. ⋯ Owing to its rarity, pathologists should be aware of this unusual neoplasm to avoid misdiagnosis. Further studies are needed to further characterize the relationship between ROS1-GOPC fusion and the pathogenesis of this carcinoma and its response to tyrosine kinase inhibitors in relapsed cases.
