Comparative Study
Comparison of polyurethane foam dressing and hydrocolloid dressing in patients with pressure ulcers: A randomized controlled trial protocol.
We conduct this randomized controlled trial protocol for the comparison of the influence of the hydrocolloid dressing and polyurethane foam dressing in the treatment of pressure ulcers (PUs) patients. ⋯ This study can develop an evidence-based protocol to identify optimal dressings for patients with PUs.

Rigid bronchoscopy has been proven to be an excellent tool for the diagnosis and management of several causes of central airway obstruction (CAO). The invasive treatment of silicone bronchobrachial stenting has been performed in children and adults with CAO, and satisfying results were obtained in previous studies. However, there are few reports on infants with central airway obstruction treated with stenting via rigid bronchoscopy. This technique remains a challenge to pediatric thoracic surgeons, pediatric interventional pulmonologists, and otolaryngologists who struggle to treat airway obstruction disease. ⋯ Invasive silicone tracheobronchial stenting via rigid bronchoscopy is a viable option for infants with CAO. Choosing an appropriate size is a critical factor for success of stenting according to our experience.

Case Reports
Inadvertent stapling of the orogastric tube during bariatric surgery: Report of 3 cases and a systematic review.
Entrapment of an orally introduced tube by stapling/stitching is an intra-operative complication of bariatric surgery with grave consequences. Incidence is unknown. No prevention/management strategy is available. A systematic review was performed to assess the absolute reported observed risk and incidence. Additionally, data on 3 cases during our entire sleeve gastrectomy (SG) experience is evaluated. ⋯ Iatrogenic stapling of the OGT during SG is rare, but morbid. It must be avoided by a strict protocol. Upon occurrence/recognition, stapling must immediately stop until the "entirety" of the tube, including the "specimen-part", is retrieved, to avoid double entrapment.

Neurofibromas can develop as part of neurofibromatosis or as a solitary tumor. Although solitary neurofibromas generally grow slowly, they rarely grow for more than 10 years, and such tumors have not been described in the hand. ⋯ Solitary neurofibroma is quite rare, especially one in the hand. However, in dealing with soft tissue tumors of the hand, particularly those with neurologic symptoms, neurofibroma should be included in the differential diagnosis.

Primary trigeminal neuralgia (PTN) is a type of peripheral neuralgia that seriously affects people's lives. In recent years, complementary therapies and alternative therapies have played a significant role in treating PTN. However, there is a lack of comparison among all the complementary and alternative therapies at present. Thus, the aim of this study is to discuss the efficacy and safety of diverse complementary and alternative therapies by Bayesian network meta-analysis (NMA). ⋯ Since the study is based on published or registered RCTs, ethical approval and patient informed consent are abandoned.
