Several randomized clinical trials have demonstrated the safety and efficiency of mechanical thrombectomy in the management of acute ischaemic stroke caused by larger vessel occlusion. According to the trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment (TOAST) classification, acute ischaemic stroke can be divided into cardioembolic stroke and non-cardioembolic stroke. Previous studies have shown that mechanical thrombectomy in cardioembolic stroke with intracranial large artery occlusion has a poor prognosis. The reason may be that the old emboli are hard, making it difficult to remove. However, recent evidence shows that mechanical thrombectomy is also effective and safe in patients with cardioembolic stroke. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of mechanical thrombectomy for cardioembolic stroke. ⋯ INPLASY2020120035.

Sciatica is a syndrome characterized by sciatic nerve path and distribution area pain. Many kinds of literature reported the definite effect of warm needle acupuncture (WNA) on sciatica. However, there is no systematic review or meta-analysis on WNA for sciatica. Therefore, this study will design a protocol to comprehensively and systematically evaluate the effectiveness and safety of WNA on sciatica. ⋯ This study will provide a reliable scheme for objectively and comprehensively evaluating the efficacy and safety of WNA on sciatica.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the cause of an overwhelming number of cancer-related deaths across the world. Developing precise and noninvasive biomarkers is critical for diagnosing HCC. Our research was designed to explore potentially useful biomarkers of host peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) in HCC by integrating comprehensive bioinformatic analysis. ⋯ The identified hub genes may be closely linked with HCC tumorigenicity and may act as potentially useful biomarkers for the prognostic prediction of HCC in PBMC samples.

Postoperative urinary retention is a disease that seriously affects human daily work and life, and greatly reduces people's quality of life and affects human health all over the world. Now, many studies have shown that moxibustion has a significant effect on postoperative urinary retention. In this study, network meta-analysis was used to analyze and compare the clinical efficacy and difference of different moxibustion treatments on postoperative urinary retention. ⋯ Objective to provide evidence-based medicine basis for clinicians to choose more effective moxibustion therapy for postoperative urinary retention.

Gastric cancer is a global health problem with high incidence rate and mortality rate. Due to the limitations of traditional chemotherapy drugs, such as patient intolerance, low efficacies and serious adverse effects, trifluridine/tipiracil has been considered to be a promising treatment for patients with heavily pretreated metastatic gastric cancer. However, the relevant systematic review has not been occurring. The presentation of this protocol is to scientifically evaluate the efficacy and safety of trifluridine/tipiracil in patients with highly pretreated metastatic gastric cancer. ⋯ OSF registration number: DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/6MF5U.
