The pathogenesis of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is not clear. The main purpose of treatment is to improve autoimmune function and relieve fatigue symptoms. Moxibustion is often used to treat diseases caused by low autoimmunity, especially in relieving fatigue symptoms. It is a superior therapy for CFS in traditional Chinese medicine. At present, there is a lack of the high level clinical evidence to support the moxibustion in the treatment of CFS, so this study will systematically review and analyze the currently available randomized controlled trials to evaluate the efficacy and safety of moxibustion in the treatment of CFS. ⋯ INPLASY202140063.

Case Reports
Collapsing focal segmental glomerulosclerosis in a patient with oral cavity cancer: A case report.
Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is one of the most common glomerular diseases, leading to end-stage renal disease. Among the 5 variants of FSGS, the collapsing variant is rare and has the worst prognosis. Solid and hematologic malignancies are associated with glomerular diseases, such as membranous nephropathy, minimal change disease, and FSGS. However, squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity is rarely associated with nephrotic syndrome, especially FSGS. ⋯ Unusual collapsing FSGS might be associated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy and wide surgical excision in patients with oral cavity cancer. Proper diagnostic workup, such as renal biopsy and high-dose glucocorticoid therapy, might have helped recover from nephrotic syndrome and acute renal injury in cancer patients.

Patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) have gastrointestinal dysfunction, and enteral nutrition intolerance is easy to occur during the implementation of enteral nutrition, which leads to the suspension or termination of enteral nutrition. Enteral nutrition cannot tolerate the influence of many factors. At present, there is a lack of analysis on the influencing factors of enteral nutrition intolerance in patients with SAP. Therefore, this study analyzed the factors of enteral nutrition intolerance in patients with SAP by meta-analysis, to provide a basis for the protection of enteral nutrition in patients with SAP. ⋯ This study systematically reviewed the existing evidence and determined the incidence and predictors of enteral nutrition intolerance in patients with SAP.

Brugada syndrome may be unmasked by non-antiarrhythmic pharmaceuticals or drugs. Lacosamide is an antiepileptic agent with a novel mechanism of sodium channel inhibition and has the potential to cause cardiac sodium channel blockade. ⋯ Caution should be exercised in the use of lacosamide in those at risk for conduction delay, or in combination therapy with medications that impair renal clearance, metabolism of lacosamide, or that display inherent sodium channel blocking properties.

Comparative Study
Serum markers for predicting advanced fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
To compare the diagnostic utility of serum markers in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB). This study enrolled 118 consecutive biopsy-proven NAFLD patients with or without CHB. Fibrosis scores of each marker were compared against histological fibrosis staging. ⋯ In patients without CHB, fibrosis-4 was the best performing marker for predicting advanced fibrosis. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and area under the ROC (95% confidence interval) for fibrosis-4 were 77.78%, 85.45%, 46.67%, 95.92%, and 0.862 (0.745-0.978), respectively. Serum markers are less reliable in predicting advanced fibrosis in NAFLD patients with CHB; APRI is the most accurate predictor of the absence of advanced fibrosis.
