Telenursing is receiving extensive attention from scholars and medical staff. However, there are few studies on the knowledge structure of telenursing for elderly individuals with chronic diseases. This study aims to demonstrate current research status and development trend of telenursing for elderly individuals with chronic diseases through a visual analysis of CiteSpace, so as to provide a more comprehensive perspective for future researches. ⋯ This study revealed current research status and development trend of telenursing for elderly individuals with chronic diseases. The bibliometric analysis of telenursing expands the knowledge field of telemedicine and provides new insights into the management of elderly patients with chronic diseases.

At present, the risk factors and prognosis of sentinel lymph node metastasis (SLNM) are analyzed based on the study of axillary lymph node metastasis, but whether there is a difference between the two is unclear. Therefore, an accurate and appropriate predictive model needs to be proposed to evaluate patients undergoing sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) for breast cancer. We selected 16983 women with breast cancer from the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database. ⋯ Histological grade, tumor location, T stage, ER status, PR status and the number of SLNB are significantly correlated with axillary SLNM. Age, ethnicity, histological grade, radiotherapy, tumor size, ER status, SLN status, and marital status were independent risk factors for Breast cancer specific survival (BCSS). Moreover, the survival rate of patients with 3 positive SLNs was not significantly different from that with one or two positive SLNs, We concluded that patients with stage N1 breast cancer were exempt from axillary lymph node dissection, which is worthy of further study.

Complicated anorectal sepsis: Validation of scoring system for predicting anorectal sepsis severity.
Anorectal sepsis is a common and potentially serious medical condition characterized by infection and inflammation of the anal canal and surrounding tissues. However, the lack of standardized and comprehensive scoring systems specifically tailored for predicting the severity of anorectal sepsis poses challenges in clinical practice. This study aimed to develop and validate a scoring system for predicting the severity of anorectal sepsis by incorporating relevant patient factors. ⋯ The ROC analysis showed an area under the curve of 0.85, indicating good discriminative ability of the scoring system. The scoring system was developed and validated in a single center, which may limit its generalizability to other settings. The scoring system demonstrated good predictive performance and can be a valuable tool for clinicians in assessing disease severity, guiding treatment decisions, and identifying high-risk patients.

Effect of butylphthalide combined with idebenone on vascular dementia: A retrospective observational analysis.
To explore the efficacy and safety of butylphthalide combined with idebenone in the treatment of vascular dementia. The clinical data of 126 patients with vascular dementia who were admitted to our hospital between March 2021 and February 2023 were retrospectively reviewed. Among them, 62 patients received butylphthalide alone (single group) and 64 patients received butylphthalide combined with idebenone (combined group). ⋯ The levels of serum glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase in the combined group were higher than those in the simple group, and the level of malondialdehyde was lower than that in the simple group (P < .05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the combined group (6.25%) and the simple group (3.23%) (P > .05). Compared with butylphthalide alone, intervention of butylphthalide combined with idebenone on vascular dementia can effectively reduce the degree of inflammatory and oxidative stress reactions, improve cognitive function, and promote the ability to perform activities of daily living in a safe manner.

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of the clinical nursing pathway (CNP) on the psychological state, treatment adherence, and quality of life in patients with acute urticaria. A total of 240 patients diagnosed with acute urticaria at a tertiary hospital in Shandong Province were retrospectively assigned to either a control group, receiving standard care, or an intervention group, receiving care according to the CNP model. The primary outcomes assessed were levels of anxiety, depression, quality of life, and patient compliance. ⋯ No significant changes were noted in the control group's physiological or mental state, except in the domains of self-care and social ability, where notable differences were absent pre- and post-intervention. In contrast, the CNP group showed significant improvements in physiological and mental states, self-care, and social abilities post-intervention (P < .001), with noticeable differences in these domains evident 6 hours into the treatment (P < .01), leading to an enhanced quality of life. The CNP-based clinical nursing model intervention significantly benefits patients with acute urticaria by alleviating anxiety and depression, enhancing treatment adherence, and improving overall quality of life.
