Squamous cell carcinoma is seen as principal malignancy of head and neck. Tumor immune microenvironment plays a vital role in the occurrence, development and treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). ⋯ This review searched for high-quality literature included within PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus using the keywords "head and neck cancers," "tumor microenvironment" and "immunotherapy," with the view to summarizing the characteristics of HNSCC immune microenvironment and how various subsets of immune cells promote tumorigenesis. At the same time, based on the favorable prospects of immunotherapy having been shown currently, the study is committed to pinpointing the latest progress of HNSCC immunotherapy, which is of great significance in not only further guiding the diagnosis and treatment of HNSCC, but also conducting its prognostic judgement.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is one of the global public health challenges due to the complexity of its mechanisms of occurrence. Many studies have suggested that vitamin D receptor gene polymorphisms are associated with BPH susceptibility. Still, their conflicting findings need to be analyzed in aggregate to gain a better understanding. ⋯ Overall, there is an association between vitamin D receptor polymorphisms and BPH risk. Identification of BPH susceptibility by vitamin D receptor gene polymorphisms has potential.

Efficacy of the traditional Chinese medicine, Buyang Huanwu Decoction, at preventing taxane-induced peripheral neuropathy in breast cancer patients: A prospective, randomized, controlled study.
Buyang Huanwu Decoction (BYHWD) is a traditional Chinese prescription, originally derived from Yi Lin Gai Cuo during the Qing Dynasty. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of BYHWD in the prevention of taxane-induced peripheral neuropathy (TIPN) in patients with breast cancer. ⋯ Buyang Huanwu decoction (BYHWD) can effectively prevent TIPN and improve the quality of life in patients with breast cancer.

Multicenter Study Observational Study
Time interval of esomeprazole and dual antiplatelet therapy in patients with cardiocerebrovascular diseases.
Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with the combination of clopidogrel and aspirin is recommended for preventing secondary ischemic events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are suggested as preventive treatment for these patients. Due to clopidogrel-PPI interactions, separating their administration might be considered. ⋯ Additionally, there was no significant difference observed between the 2 groups for safety outcomes. This multicenter, prospective, observational study that enrolled patients with ACS or AIS demonstrated that there was no significant difference in the occurrence of MACCEs and bleeding issues within 6 months according to the medication administration interval. The majority of patients with DAPT were taking PPIs simultaneously in real-world practice.
