To investigate the clinical efficacy and knee joint kinematic changes of posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction assisted by Chinese knotting technique (CKT). A retrospective analysis was conducted on 88 cases of PCL reconstructive surgery admitted between September 2016 and September 2020. All patients were operated on by the same senior doctor and his team. ⋯ One year after surgery, the good and good rate of MAS score reduction group was higher than traditional group. CKT assisted PCL reconstruction can improve the subjective function score of the affected knee joint and the results of secondary microscopy. Satisfactory knee kinematic function can be obtained in the early stage, and the anteroposteric relaxation of the knee joint can be reduced.

Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative joint disease that is highly prevalent in the elderly population. Along with the occurrence of sports injuries, osteoarthritis is gradually showing a younger trend. Osteoarthritis has many causative factors, and its pathogenesis is currently unknown. Cellular senescence is a stable form of cell cycle arrest exhibited by cells in response to external stimuli and plays a role in a variety of diseases. And it is only in the last decade or so that cellular senescence has gradually become cross-linked with osteoarthritis. However, there is no comprehensive bibliometric analysis in this field. The aim of this study is to present the current status and research hotspots of cellular senescence in the field of osteoarthritis, and to predict the future trends of cellular senescence in osteoarthritis research from a bibliometric perspective. ⋯ In the last decade or so, this is the first bibliometric study that systematically describes the current status and development trend of research on cellular senescence associated with osteoarthritis. The study comprehensively and systematically summarizes and concludes the research hotspots and development trends, providing valuable references for researchers in this field.

The influence of COMT and ABCB1 gene polymorphisms on sufentanil analgesic effect for postoperative pain in children with fracture.
The aim of this observational study was to investigate the effects of catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) and ATP-binding cassette transporter B1 (ABCB1) gene polymorphisms on the postoperative analgesic effect of sufentanil in Chinese Han pediatric patients with fractures. A total of 185 pediatric patients who underwent fracture surgery were included. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism was used to detect the polymorphisms of COMT and ABCB1 genes. ⋯ Among patients with AA genotype in COMT, the pain scores and total consumption of sufentanil at awakening, 2, 6, 12, and 24 hours after surgery were higher compared to AG and GG genotypes (P < .05), while there were no statistically significant differences between AG and GG genotypes (P > .05). There were no statistically significant differences in adverse reactions between different genotypes of ABCB1 and COMT (P > .05). The polymorphisms of COMT gene rs4680 and ABCB1 gene rs1045642 are associated with the analgesic effect and consumption of sufentanil in pediatric patients after fracture surgery.

The correlation between vitamin D3 and arginine metabolism levels in newborns with amino acid metabolism disorders.
This study aimed to explore the correlation between vitamin D3 and arginine (Arg) metabolism indicators in newborns with amino acid metabolism disorders. Based on clinical data, 30 newborns with amino acid metabolism diseases admitted to Shijiazhuang Fourth Hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the disease group, and 30 healthy newborns from the same period were selected as the healthy group. After enrollment, blood samples were collected to measure the levels of Arg, Glycine (Gly), and vitamin D3 levels. ⋯ Newborns with amino acid metabolism disorders have abnormally high Arg levels, significantly reduced Gly levels, and significantly decreased vitamin D3 levels. The degree of decline was closely related to the levels of indicators of Arg metabolism. Vitamin D3 supplementation can improve the Arg metabolism status of newborns with amino acid metabolism disorders.

Cinnamon and motherwort are traditional Chinese medicines and are often combined to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia; however, the specific therapeutic mechanisms involved remain unclear. Therefore, in this study, we applied a network pharmacology approach to investigate the potential mechanisms of action of the drug pair cinnamon and motherwort (PCM) for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Relevant targets for the use of PCM to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia were obtained through databases. ⋯ Network pharmacology was used to identify the effective components and action targets of PCM. We also identified potential mechanisms of action for PCM in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Our results provide a foundation for expanding the clinical application of PCM and provide new ideas and directions for further research on the mechanisms of action of PCM and its components for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
