ShenGui capsule (SGC), as a herbal compound, has significant effects on the treatment of heart failure (HF), but its mechanism of action is unclear. In this study, we aimed to explore the potential pharmacological targets and mechanisms of SGC in the treatment of HF using network pharmacology and molecular docking approaches. Potential active ingredients of SGC were obtained from the traditional Chinese medicine systems pharmacology database and analysis platform database and screened by pharmacokinetic parameters. ⋯ Molecular docking results showed that IL-1β binds tightly to SGC active components. This experiment provides an important research basis for the mechanism of action of SGC in the treatment of HF. In this study, the active compounds of SGC were found to bind IL-1β for the treatment of heart failure.

Megalosplenia as an initial manifestation of multiple myeloma with a novel CYLD gene mutation: A case report and literature review.
Megalosplenia in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM) is extremely rare, posing diagnostic and therapeutic challenges due to its unusual location and clinical manifestations and lack of optimal therapeutic strategies. ⋯ To our knowledge, only 8 cases of spleen plasmacytoma at MM diagnosis have been described previously. Extramedullary myeloma patients with spleen involvement at diagnosis are younger and that the condition is usually accompanied by splenic rupture with aggressive clinical features and poor prognosis. Further studies are needed to explore pathogenesis and effective therapies to prolong the survival of such patients.

A bibliography of smart nanomaterials biological application in myocardial infarction research.
Myocardial infarction has been considered the top cause of mortality globally. Numerous studies investigated the biological application of smart nanomaterials in myocardial infarction. Our study aimed to provide an overview of this area through bibliography research. ⋯ Matthias Nahrendorf ranked first in article volume and also owned the highest impact. Keyword burst analysis indicated the frontiers and hotspots to be gold nanoparticles and iron oxide nanoparticles. This bibliography analysis provides a comprehensive overview of uncovered current research trends and emerging hotspots of nanomaterials' biological application in myocardial infarction, thus inspiring further investigations.

Comparison of sacubitril/valsartan with olmesartan for hypertension: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
The efficacy of sacubitril/valsartan versus olmesartan remains controversial for the control of hypertension. We conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to explore the influence of sacubitril/valsartan versus olmesartan on the control of hypertension. ⋯ Sacubitril/valsartan is better than olmesartan for the reduction of blood pressure for patients with hypertension.

Establishment and validation of a nomogram model for predicting ovulation in the PCOS women.
The mechanisms underlying ovulatory dysfunction in PCOS remain debatable. This study aimed to identify the factors affecting ovulation among PCOS patients based on a large sample-sized randomized control trial. ⋯ The nomogram composed of LH, free testosterone, BMI, period times per year and the application of clomiphene may predict the ovulation among PCOS patients.
