Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Self-care interventions for adults with heart failure: A systematic review and meta-analysis protocol.
To synthesize and compare outcomes from controlled trials of interventions to improve heart failure self-care among adults. ⋯ Comparative effectiveness of existing self-care interventions is not yet known. This research will identify the most promising self-care intervention components for designing better interventions and guide targeting of interventions to specific sub-populations. The purpose of this study was to perform a bibliometric analysis of the six most important nursing journals according to the impact factor of the Science Citation Index through Web of Science® . The following journals were included: International Journal of Nursing Studies, Nurse Education Today, Journal of Nursing Scholarship, Nursing Outlook, Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing and the Journal of Advanced Nursing. ⋯ This bibliometric analysis contributes to the understanding of the current state of nursing research and its evolution.

To gain insight into the experiences of family carers participating in a weight management programme via mHealth tools for overweight children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities. ⋯ The mHealth interactive interventions for increasing family carers' involvement and monitoring were well received. The findings provide new insights into using mHealth interventions in future weight management programmes involving parental participation in the home environment.

Using an interactionist perspective to test on-the-job embeddedness and off-the-job embeddedness as possible moderators for the predictive effects of job satisfaction and job stress on nurses' turnover intentions. ⋯ Results showed that using an interactionist perspective is useful in predicting nurse turnover. Nursing management should be made aware of the importance of being embedded off-the-job to prevent nurse turnover. This paper issues guidelines to form a more comprehensive staff retention programme for the healthcare sector.
