To identify, critically appraise, and summarize instruments to measure dietary knowledge in patients with diabetes mellitus type 1 or 2. ⋯ What problem did the study address? One of the main factors that lead to greater difficulty for patients with diabetes mellitus is dietary management, and it is necessary to evaluate whether the patient has sufficient knowledge about dietetics to practice a healthy diet. What were the main findings? Nine instruments were identified that were specifically designed to assess dietary knowledge in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 1 or 2. Michigan Diabetes Knowledge Test, Diabetes Knowledge Questionnaire, and Personal Diabetes Questionnaire are the recommended instruments to assess dietary knowledge in people with diabetes. Where and on whom will the research have impact? The evaluation of this construct is very useful both in clinical practice; at hospital, community and primary care levels, in patients with type 1 and / or 2 diabetes mellitus (DM), as in research.

To explore the relationships between nurses' quality of life, personal quality of life, intention to stay (ITS) and resign and factors related to resignation. ⋯ The study was the first to explore the relationships between professionals' quality of life, personal quality of life, ITS and resign. The study showed that compassion satisfaction increased the effect between ITS and resignation. Sense of achievement and satisfaction were the most important factors influencing nurses to stay in clinical practice. It is important to enhance nurse compassion satisfaction in nursing career, their job identity and gratification. The effective supportive environment and self-reflection may enhance compassion satisfaction, ameliorate nurse retention and improve the quality of care.

Virtual reality and distraction cards to reduce pain during intramuscular benzathine penicillin injection procedure in adults: A randomized controlled trial.
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using three-dimensional videos with virtual reality glasses and distraction cards including optical illusion pictures on patients' pain and satisfaction levels during intramuscular benzathine penicillin injection. ⋯ NCT04420559.

To examine the literature on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) used in the treatment, prevention and supportive care in patients with COVID-19. ⋯ TCM has been used in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19 in China, and the clinical evidences indicated that TCM regulates immunity and exerts anti-viral effect simultaneously. This review provides practical recommendation for the policymakers in the selection process of the treatment and preventive measures for the global pandemic of COVID-19.

To explore emergency nurses' and physicians' experience of collaboration and collective decision-making when triaging older Emergency Department patients within the interprofessional team triage system. ⋯ Emergency Department leaders need to consider nurses' and physicians' values and beliefs to promote interprofessional collaboration in team triage.
