Retrospective single-center imaging-based case-control study. ⋯ A substantial association between C5 foraminal stenosis and ipsilateral frozen shoulder was found. C5 radiculopathy could be a risk factor for "neurogenic frozen shoulder". Those diagnosing frozen shoulder and cervicobrachialgia should recognize that frozen shoulder and C5 radiculopathy may coexist. A multidisciplinary approach involving both shoulder and spine specialists is recommended for a definitive diagnosis.

Retrospective review of prospectively collected data. ⋯ Patients are expected to improve up to 6 months after MIS TLIF. Back pain and leg pain improve up to 3 months and disability and physical function improve up to 6 months. Beyond these timepoints, the trends in improvement tend to reach a plateau. 80% of patients feel better compared to preoperative by 3 months after surgery.

Retrospective case series. ⋯ ATR and AVR demonstrated significant axial plane correction at two-years postoperative in patients undergoing PSF for AIS. BSR did not maintain significant improvement by the two-year visit.

A retrospective cohort review. ⋯ The development of a validated novel nutritional and metabolic burden score (ASD-NMBS) demonstrated that patients with higher scores are at greater risk of increased postoperative complications and course. As such, surgeons should consider the reduction of nutritional and metabolic burden preoperatively to enhance outcomes and reduce complications in ASD patients.
