Comparative analysis. ⋯ ChatGPT was able to produce a sufficient clinical guideline recommendation for low back pain, with overall improvements if initially prompted. However, it tended to wrongly suggest evidence and often failed to mention, especially postprompt, when there is not enough evidence to adequately give an accurate recommendation.

Retrospective cohort. ⋯ After 1:1 exact matching to control for confounding variables, the findings of this study suggest that all-cause surgical complications are similar in patients undergoing ACDFs with synthetic interbody devices or allograft/autographs. However, the rate of pseudarthrosis appears to be higher in patients with allograft/autographs. Future prospective studies are needed to corroborate these findings.

Retrospective, single-center study. ⋯ Pulmonary function in most patients undergoing AVBT remained stable (76%) or improved (14%); however, a subset may worsen (10%). Further studies are needed to identify the risk factors for this group, but worse preoperative PFTs and extension below T12 may be risk factors for worsening pulmonary function.
