To evaluate lung abnormalities on thin-section computed tomographic (CT) scans in patients with COVID-19 and correlate findings to duration of symptoms. ⋯ Thin-section CT could provide semi-quantitative analysis of pulmonary damage severity. This disease changed rapidly at the early stage, then tended to be stable and lasted for a long time.

Tumor consistency is a critical factor in surgical planning that influences ease of resection and risk of operative morbidity. The ability of MRI to predict tumor consistency tumor consistency has been shown to increase with higher field strength. The present study examined the utility of 7 T (7 T) MRI in predicting the tumor consistency of pituitary adenomas. ⋯ The signal and contrast advantage conferred by 7 T MRI may provide valuable preoperative information regarding pituitary tumor consistency and physiology. The use of granular, voxel-based analysis maximizes the potential afforded by the high resolution of 7 T imaging, and may be a valuable method of predicting consistency of pituitary adenoma.

To evaluate the clinical performance of a newly developed three-dimensional (3D) intra- and extracranial arterial vessel wall joint imaging technique at 3T using T1-weighted 3D variable-flip-angle turbo spin-echo sequence with improved cerebrospinal fluid suppression in patients with cerebrovascular disease. ⋯ The described joint imaging is a promising vessel wall magnetic resonance imaging method for comprehensive diagnosis of cerebrovascular symptoms and investigation of etiology. The imaging technique is a potentially valuable means to optimize treatment.

To assess the association between intravoxel-incoherent motion diffusion-weighted imaging (IVIM) derived hypoxia and the aggressiveness of prostate cancer (PCa) and to explore its contribution to the risk stratification of PCa. ⋯ IVIM derived hypoxia demonstrated significant correlation with the aggressiveness of PCa. It's supplemental to the MRI assessment of PCa with a promising stratification of risk stratification of PZ PCa.

To evaluate the correlation between optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) measurement with signs of increased intracranial pressure (ICP) found on computed tomography (CT) in trauma patients. ⋯ There was a significant association between ONSD and imaging signs of increased ICP in CT with a high NPV. No difference of ONSD measurement at CT between normal and optic-nerve axial planes was observed, whereas there was a significant difference between diameter obtained at CT and US.
