Case Reports
Long-term outcomes of penetrating keratoplasty in chronic and delayed mustard gas keratitis.
To report the long-term outcomes of penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) in war victims with chronic and delayed mustard gas keratitis. ⋯ PKP in chronic or delayed-onset mustard gas keratitis should be considered as a high-risk graft; however, with appropriate management, graft clarity and visual outcomes may be favorable.

Case Reports
Endothelial keratoplasty: first report of a ruptured globe after deep lamellar endothelial keratoplasty.
To report a case of ruptured globe after endothelial keratoplasty. ⋯ A ruptured globe caused by blunt trauma can occur after endothelial keratoplasty as it can after other intraocular procedures. In this case, the endothelial graft was extruded with separation of the donor-graft interface. The incidence has yet to be determined and whether it is less than that after standard penetrating keratoplasty surgery will require further long-term studies.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Double-masked comparison of ketorolac tromethamine 0.4% versus nepafenac sodium 0.1% for postoperative healing rates and pain control in eyes undergoing surface ablation.
Determine the degree of postoperative pain and rate of healing in eyes treated with either ketorolac tromethamine 0.4% (Acular LS) or nepafenac sodium 0.1% (Nevanac) after flapless surface ablation [epi-laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK)]. ⋯ In patients undergoing epi-LASIK, a statistically significant trend postoperative toward increased corneal haze was seen with nepafenac compared with ketorolac. Nepafenac therapy resulted in a non-statistically significant trend toward delayed healing. The study was halted because of safety concerns.

To describe a case of Euphorbia lactea sap keratouveitis and to review all reported cases of ocular toxicity caused by Euphorbia species. ⋯ To the best of our knowledge, this is only the third reported case of E. lactea sap keratouveitis. The clinical course of E. lactea sap keratouveitis is compared with that reported for other Euphorbia species.

To retrospectively evaluate the coexistence of congenital glaucoma with congenital hereditary endothelial dystrophy. ⋯ Congenital hereditary endothelial dystrophy may coexist with congenital glaucoma. This combination should be suspected where persistent and total corneal opacification fails to resolve after normalization of IOP.
