Piloting Me and My Wishes-Videos of Nursing Home Residents' Preferences.
A key challenge in nursing homes (NHs) is how to attain and clarify resident preferences for care and then communicate these preferences to family members and staff. ⋯ This research supports the feasibility and acceptability of a videotaping approach (Me & My Wishes) for viewing, listening, and discussing residents' preferences for daily and EOL care.

Intensivist Religiosity and Perceived Conflict During a Simulated ICU Family Meeting.
Conflict is frequently reported by both clinicians and surrogate decision makers for adult patients in intensive care units. Because religious clinicians view religion as an important dimension of end-of-life care, we hypothesized that religious critical care attendings (intensivists) would be more comfortable and perceive less conflict when discussing a patient's critical illness with a religious surrogate. ⋯ Religious intensivists were more likely to perceive conflict during a simulated family meeting.

Yoga for Cancer-related Fatigue in Survivors of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation: A Feasibility Study.
Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is one of the most common symptoms experienced by cancer patients after hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). Yoga is an approach with supportive evidence to improve CRF in different cancer populations, but to our knowledge, it has not been tested in an adult HCT population. ⋯ The results of this study suggest that a restorative yoga intervention in adult HCT survivors is safe and feasible. The incidence of GVHD may have impacted adherence. Strategies to improve accrual acceptance, retention, and adherence are needed.
