Intimate partner violence against women (IPV) has devastating effects on the healthcare and well-being of women and their children. Physical, psychological, and social consequences, a worse perception of their own health, and loss of quality of life are well-documented, while aftereffects persist in time even after the end of abuse. Psychological consequences of abuse last longer and are more serious. ⋯ Many health problems, both physical and mental, that lead women to go to healthcare services in search of help have an origin in the violence they experience. Treatment of the symptoms without awareness of its relation to such violence favours medicalization, iatrogenesis, and chronification. Psychological violence poses a threat that is invisible, subtle, cumulative, and difficult to detect; it is, however, the most destructive.

Effectiveness of antidepressants in improving the prognosis of COVID-19: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
A systematic review and meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of antidepressants in reducing the poor evolution of COVID-19 disease (a composite variable including death, hospitalization and need for mechanical ventilation), and mortality, according the guidelines for Systematic Reviews of Interventions published by the Cochrane library. ⋯ The use of antidepressants, and specially SSRI could be effective for reducing the risk of poor progression of COVID-19 disease.

To determine the prevalence of COVID-19 and the characteristics of infected patients, as well as the prevalence of mental disorders associated with the infection and the associated risk factors. Secondary: to know the prevalence of the long COVID syndrome and the characteristics of this cohort. ⋯ COVID-19 has had an impact on the mental health of patients. Knowing the risk factors for developing these mental disorders and the long COVID syndrome would allow the clinician to be able to identify patients at risk in order to establish preventive measures and avoid their appearance.

Observational Study
[Predictive validity of Clinical Risk Groups in chronic patients in primary healthcare].
To analyse a prediction model for admissions and hospital emergencies based on Clinical Risk Groups, in a population of complex chronic patients demanding primary care. ⋯ The predictive capacity of CRG grouper showed high sensibility for the patient classification with a high degree of complexity. Its specificity and positive predictive value were lower for the association of the N3 complexity stratum.
