Comparative StudyTransarterial Chemoembolization versus Radiofrequency Ablation for Recurrent Hepatocellular Carcinoma after Resection within Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer Stage 0/A: A Retrospective Comparative Study.
To compare outcomes of transarterial chemoembolization with radiofrequency (RF) ablation in treatment of recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after resection within Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) stage 0/A. ⋯ Transarterial chemoembolization might provide a similar OS as RF ablation in patients with recurrent BCLC stage A HCC. However, RF ablation could provide better OS in patients with recurrent BCLC stage 0 HCC.

Percutaneous CT-Guided Cryoablation of the Salivary Glands in a Porcine Model.
To evaluate the imaging, histologic changes and safety of computed tomography (CT)-guided cryoablation of the parotid glands in a porcine model. ⋯ Cryoablation of parotid glands was technically feasible in a porcine model. Only 1 pig developed sialocele, which was successfully treated. Further research is warranted to determine the potential use of salivary gland cryoablation to treat patients with drooling.

Initial Experience: Alleviation of Pain with Percutaneous CT-Guided Cryoablation for Recurrent Retroperitoneal Soft-Tissue Sarcoma.
To evaluate the pain-alleviating effect of computed tomography (CT)-guided percutaneous cryoablation for recurrent retroperitoneal soft-tissue sarcomas (RPSs). ⋯ Minimally invasive percutaneous cryoablation improves local pain and is a feasible treatment for recurrent RPSs.

Observational StudySafety and Efficacy of Doxorubicin Drug-Eluting Embolic Chemoembolization of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Supplied by Extrahepatic Collateral Arteries.
To assess safety and efficacy of doxorubicin drug-eluting embolic (DEE) transarterial chemoembolization of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by extrahepatic collateral arteries. ⋯ DEE transarterial chemoembolization via extrahepatic collaterals was effective and facilitated bridging to transplant. It was generally well tolerated; transient hepatotoxicity was the most common major complication.
