Prevalence and Pattern of Ocular Trauma in a Secondary Eye Care Center in Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Ocular trauma stands as the leading preventable cause of monocular blindness worldwide. The aim of the study was to calculate the prevalence of ocular trauma and the circumstances, causes, and types of ocular injuries at emergency department of Community Eye Hospital. ⋯ The prevalence of ocular trauma in our study was higher than other studies. Occupational ocular trauma mainly welding injury, cement factory injury and agricultural injury are common cause of ocular trauma.

Attitude and Perception of Preclinical Undergraduate Medical Students about Problem Based Learning in Medical College of Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Problem-based learning is a student-centered learning method. Assessing students' understanding, settled way of thinking and interpretation towards problem-based learning is essential. The objective of the study was to understand the attitude and perception of preclinicalM.B.B.S. students about problem-based learning. ⋯ Majority of the students have positive attitude and good perception towards problem based learning. This method helps in generating skills like communication skills, group discussion, constructive critical reasoning, decision-making.

Respectful Maternity Care during labour and postpartum in a tertiary hospital: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Respectful maternity care (RMC) is a fundamental human right for women globally. Providing respectful care during labor and postpartum is crucial for the health and well-being of both mothers and newborns. The interactions between healthcare providers and women play a significant role in shaping their future healthcare decisions. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the prevalence of RMC during labor and postpartum from the patient's perspective at a tertiary care center. ⋯ This study demonstrated a high prevalence of respectful maternity care, with most patients experiencing protection of confidentiality, dignity, equitable treatment, safety, and informed consent, indicating effective implementation of RMC practices at our tertiary care center.\ Keywords: labour; maternity care; postpartum; prevalence; tertiary hospital.

Characteristics of Spinal Cord Injury Presenting to Tertiary Care Center in Gandaki province of Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Spinal cord injury is one of the common injury which causes damage to the spinal cord due to trauma, diseases or degenerations leading to disability and decreasing life expectancy. The study aims to find the characteristics of spinal cord injury presenting at a tertiary care centre. ⋯ Spinal cord injury mostly traumatic commonly due to fall from height affecting mainly male population residing in rural areas at their fourth decade of life who are mainly involve in manual work and agriculture. Spinal cord injury is a major health problem at global and local level causing major morbidity.

Immunotherapy with Intralesional Vit D injection in Recalcitrant wart at a Tertiary Care Center: A Descriptive Cross sectional Study.
Recalcirant warts are resistant to conventional therapeutic option with high recurrence rate. In recent year, treatment of warts with different immunotherapeutic agent has shown good results, as it regulate epidermal cell proliferation and are involved in the formation of anti microbial peptides. Hence, this study was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of immunotherapy with intralesional vitamin D in wart. ⋯ Intralesional administration of Vitamin D is an effective treatment option for reclacitrant warts and is, highly effective, cost-efficient, with minimal adverse effects, and can be perfomed in our clinical set up.
