Observational StudyFactors Affecting Morbidity, Mortality, and Recurrence in Incarcerated Femoral Hernia.
To ascertain the factors that govern morbidity, mortality, and recurrence in incarcerated femoral hernia. ⋯ In cases of incarcerated femoral hernia, symptoms of intestinal obstruction or signs of strangulation are more important in the development of postoperative morbidity. In addition, the probability of mortality is higher in patients who had preoperative tachycardia and in patients who underwent visceral resection. To the extent possible, regional anesthesia should be preferred in suitable cases. Key Words: Femoral hernia, Laparotomy, Morbidity, Mortality, Recurrence.

Observational StudyEffectiveness of Milan Classification in Salivary Gland Aspirations.
To determine the effectiveness of Milan system for the evaluation of aspiration cytology to salivary gland lesions classification. ⋯ In aspiration cytology of salivary gland lesions, Milan system provides useful information in classifying patients for clinical follow-up and treatment. However, it can be said that it is difficult to distinguish between the atypia of uncertain significance and neoplasm categories. Key Words: Salivary glands, Biopsy, Fine-needle, Milan classification.

Case ReportsMedian Arcuate Ligament Compression on Celiac Trunk during Liver Transplantation Procedure.
Low insertion of median arcuate ligament (MAL) can cause compression over the celiac trunk with subsequent complications. During liver transplantation procedure, the graft artery is usually anastomosed with the hepatic artery of the recipient, which arises from the celiac trunk. MAL compression might reduce hepatic arterial blood flow to the graft, which can induce postoperative hepatic arterial thrombosis, causing graft failure. ⋯ However, dissection and division of MAL restored excellent hepatic arterial blood flow. This case highlights the significance of prompt diagnosis and management of MAL compression syndrome in liver transplant recipients during transplant surgery. Key Words: Celiac trunk, Median arcuate ligament, Liver transplant.

Case ReportsKleefstra Syndrome with Severe Sensory Neural Deafness and De Novo Novel Mutation.
Kleefstra syndrome is a rare inherited neuro-developmental condition characterised by facial dysmorphism, microcephaly, hypotonia, developmental delay, and intellectual disability. It is a rare syndrome; and less than 100 cases with different genetic mutations are reported so far. We report an eight-month baby boy with Kleefstra syndrome type 2 due to a novel de novo pathogenic mutation in the KMT2C (Lysine methyltransferase 2C) gene. Key Words: Kleefstra syndrome, KMT2C gene, Neurodevelopmental disorder, Deafness.

Case ReportsTricho-Hepato-Eenteric Syndrome: Same Genotype but Different Phenotypes in Two Pakistani Children.
Tricho-hepato-enteric syndrome (THES) is characterised by infantile diarrhea with characteristic facies, trichorrhexis nodosa and hepatic involvement. The underlying genetic mutation is in tetratricopeptide repeat domain 37 (TTC37) gene. ⋯ Using these cases as a precedent, we reviewed what is known about this rare syndrome, as well as the novelties in our cases and treatment options. Key Words: Chronic diarrhea, Liver disease, Genetic mutation, TTC37.
