ReviewAboriginal health policy: is nutrition the 'gap' in 'Closing the Gap'?
To examine the extent to which nutrition has been prioritised in national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health policy. ⋯ With the exception of food security in remote communities, nutrition seems to have disappeared from the national Aboriginal health policy agenda. This is a concern, given the burden of nutrition-related disease in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population.

To examine the trend in stillbirth rates adjusted for the trends in the maternal risk profile, and to use local data to estimate the stillbirth recurrence risk. ⋯ Further focus on addressing risk factors for stillbirths is needed to ensure continued progress is made in reducing stillbirths.

Cultural respect strategies in Australian Aboriginal primary health care services: beyond education and training of practitioners.
There is little literature on health-service-level strategies for culturally respectful care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. We conducted two case studies, which involved one Aboriginal community controlled health care service and one state government-managed primary health care service, to examine cultural respect strategies, client experiences and barriers to cultural respect. ⋯ Primary health care's social determinants of health mandate, the community controlled model, and the development of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce need to be supported to ensure a culturally respectful health system.

Patterns and perceptions of physical activity and sedentary time in male transport drivers working in regional Australia.
To objectively measure physical activity (PA) patterns and sedentary time, and explore perceptions of workplace PA opportunities in regional male transport workers. ⋯ This research informs ongoing intervention efforts to target inactive drivers who are struggling to take advantage of existing workplace-related PA opportunities.
