Sex differences in electrolyte imbalances caused by SARS-CoV-2: a cross-sectional study.
Since SARS-CoV-2 spread, evidence regarding sex differences in progression and prognosis of COVID-19 have emerged. Besides this, studies on patients' clinical characteristics have described electrolyte imbalances as one of the recurrent features of COVID-19. ⋯ SARS-CoV-2 infection is associated with a higher prevalence of hypokalaemia, hypocalcaemia, hypochloraemia and sodium alterations. Hypokalaemia is more frequent among women and hypocalcaemia among men.

To explore the relationship between mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and sense organs functional deficit in community elderly people. ⋯ The sensory organs functional defects is associated with the mild cognitive impartment in Chinese elderly, especially in vision and hearing disorder.

To apply the mini-clinical evaluation exercise (Mini-CEX) to orthopaedics and check its influence on clinical operational abilities and thinking abilities. ⋯ The modified Mini-CEX is suitable for orthopaedic education and could help cultivate interns' clinical thinking ability.

Prevalence and transmission of COVID-19 in community and household levels of Bangladesh: Longini and Koopman epidemic modelling approach.
To estimate the prevalence of COVID-19 pandemic and its transmission rates among people in both community and household levels of Bangladesh. ⋯ The susceptible individuals have a higher risk of community infection than the household and the community transmission is more responsible than the household for COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.

Dietary insulin index and load with risk of breast cancer in a case-control study.
Circulating insulin levels have been positively associated with risk of breast cancer (BrCa); however, it remains unclear whether a diet inducing an elevated insulin response influences Breast risk. ⋯ Our findings suggest that a diet that induces an elevated postprandial insulin response, indicated by higher DII and DIL scores, may increase the odds of BrCa, especially among women.
