Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is defined as an isolated platelet count less than 100 × 109/L in the absence of other causes of thrombocytopenia. Sarcopenia is a body-wide muscular disorder with a progressive nature that leads to reduced mobility, physical disability, falls, and poor quality of life. We aimed to evaluate the frequency of objectively diagnosed sarcopenia in patients with ITP and to determine whether ITP therapies have sarcopenic effects. ⋯ Sarcopenia may be more frequent among patients with ITP compared to the population, and it is important to note that 92.45% of patients had low SLM and 54.72% had low SLMT. Eltrombopag therapy might be beneficial as demonstrated by higher SLM, ASMM, and ASMM/height2 values.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is the most common cause of non-traumatic disability in young adults. Spinal cord involvement is observed in 55-75% of patients with MS. ⋯ The sagittal PSIR sequence may improve the detection of cervical MS plaques due to the improved visibility and intensity ratios. The axial TIRM sequence may be more useful than routine axial T2W in the evaluation of visibility, border sharpness, and size measurement of MS plaques.

This study aimed to compare the effect of different obturation techniques with root canal sealers on the residual filling material after retreatment using SEM. ⋯ Residual filling material was observed in all samples, regardless of the root canal sealer or the obturation technique used. There was a significantly lower smear scores in the AH Plus groups as compared to the GFB.
