To find out inter-professional collaboration among speech-language pathologists and nurses in acute care in Pakistan. ⋯ Results show significant difference in partnership, coordination, and shared decision making. There is no significant difference in cooperation.

Dental study casts play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment planning of various orthodontic cases. This study was carried out to compare the tooth widths, arch widths, and arch lengths in Class-I normal dentition to those in Class-I and Class-II crowded dentition in an effort to improve treatment planning and to eventually reduce treatment duration. ⋯ Results of the current study indicate that crowding of teeth occurs as a consequence of decreased arch perimeters which may lead to increased arch length discrepancies. However, no prominent difference was noticed in the sum of tooth widths and arch widths among different occlusal groups.

To analyze trends of CSs and evaluating them according to Robson's Ten Groups Classification System (TGCS) at a leading government tertiary care hospital of South Punjab, Pakistan. ⋯ As per Robson's Ten-Group Classification, Group-10 and Group-5 were found to be the most contributing among deliveries done. Previous cesarean section and fetal distress were the most common indications of cesarean section.

To compare the mean operative time (MOT) in patients undergoing Ho: YAG laser lithotripsy (LL) and pneumatic lithotripsy (PL) for ureteric stones. ⋯ Ho: YAG LL is an efficient technique when compared with PL in terms of MOT for ureteric stones.

Suicide attempt has different risk factors for each community. In the study we aimed to reveal the causes of suicide attempt in Turkey's Eastern part and to make suggestions to prevent suicide. ⋯ Family therapy for married individuals would reduce suicide attempts in females. Psychiatric history is an important risk factor and it should be ensured that these patients are followed up regularly by the health institutions and their relatives. To prevent drug abuse, there should not be too much medicine in homes. If medicine is available at home, it should be kept in a safer environment.
